Naveen Kshatriya has 40 years of international experience with Unilever and BP – Castrol.
An IIT engineer, he practiced Marketing and Customer Management in his early 23 years with Unilever. He joined the Castrol India board in 1998 and was its CEO during 02-09. He was appointed to the BP-Castrol’s Global Lubricant leadership team in 2004 and retired in 2012 as the head of its 2.5 billion dollar Asia business. He has a track record of delivering extraordinary growth.
He enjoys sharing his learning and experience. He was a visiting lecturer at INSEAD, Fontainebleau, Paris. He speaks in professional forums, often on marketing & leadership development. He is passionate about sharing his experiment with “Power of Intent” & ” Power of Audacity ” in delivering extraordinary results. He is also on the Board of Borosil Glass works Ltd, Ambit Holdings Pvt. Ltd. and an operating Advisor to ASK Pravi Capital. He mentors and supports several entrepreneurial enterprises through his investment firm Kshatriya Ventures LLP. He is the Managing Trustee of the Indian Cancer Society and supports Isha Foundation’s Education Initiative.
Naveen has played a critical role in the development of First Energy since its early days, giving strategic direction, support and guidance.
Hemant joined Thermax limited as the Executive Vice President & Group Business Head for the Cooling & Heating business in 2010.
In a career spanning 21 years, Hemant worked with Knorr Bremse India, Tata Toyo Radiators Ltd., FAG Precision Bearings Ltd., Indian Seamless Metal Tubes and Bharat Forge. His vast experience encompasses strategic planning, marketing, sales, engineering and technology development.
Hemant joined Thermax from Tata Auto Comp Systems (TACO) where he was President and Head-Business Group II, overseeing the Interiors and Plastic Division, Automotive Composite business and the Tata GS Yuasa battery business. Earlier, as head of the engineering service business of TACO, he was responsible for setting up engineering centers in Japan and China.
A BE Mechanical graduate from Nagpur University, Hemant is also an MBA from Symbiosis, Pune and has completed a Diploma in General Management from Netherland’s Maastricht School of Management.
Amitabha Mukhopadhyay took over as Group Chief Financial Officer and Member of the Executive Council of Thermax Limited in October 2013. He is in charge of the Commercial Group at Thermax. He joined Thermax from Tata Autocomp Systems which he restructured, as its President and CFO.
Earlier, from 2001 to 2005 he played a pivotal role in the post turnaround phase, streamlining Thermax’s operations as CFO and subsequently as Head of the Chemical and Water business.
He has 24 years of experience spanning various industries including Tata Steel, Dunlop and IFB Industries.
Amitabha was a topper in Chartered Accounting from ICAI in 1989 and completed his B.Sc. from Kolkatta University.
Mahesh co-founded First Energy and led Oorja’s transition From BP to First Energy. He first co-created the business within the large MNC and then rebuilt it under the first Energy banner as an early stage independent company taking the business to operational and commercial scale.
Mahesh’s experience spans 28 years across continents and functions. Prior to First Energy and BP, he has tenured at several country offices of Unilever, where he managed key customers and was involved in concentrated markets, sales development, supply chain and business I.T. Subsequently in Castrol and BP, Mahesh played several strategic roles leading to Director, Global Trends for BP worldwide, before returning back to India, to set up the Oorja business under BP.
Mahesh earned an M.B.A from XLRI, Jamshedpur. Mahesh was conferred distinguished alumnus by XLRI in the year 2015.He loves listening to Indian Classical Music, is a serious runner and an avid reader.
